The programme is a rich assortment of films from countries such as Germany, Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy, France, Romania, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden and Belgium. These films will give insight into the way of life and cultural diversity of the different countries represented. The opening has been scheduled for tomorrow at 1800hrs which will be followed by two films, Almanya from Germany and Up and down, from Czech Republic, respectively. Within the duration of the festival, a minimum of two films will be screened every evening.
This festival marks a positive contribution to the slow growing film industry in Zimbabwe. Other festivals that have managed to survive in the thriving Zimbabwean film industry include the International Images Film Festival (IIFF) and the Zimbabwe International Film Festival (ZIFF), among others. Do not miss the EU festival, admission is free.
