The Zimbabwe Museum of Human Sciences in Harare will host the museums week and culture fair which will run from the 17thto the 19th of May, this year.
The Zimbabwe Museum of Human Sciences which falls under the National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe showcases the country’s archaeological historical and heritage artifacts. The culture fair offers an open platform for different businesses, embassies, schools and individuals to showcase their cultural diversity through displays or performances. This year’s programme is packed with a variety of entertaining events such as music, dance, games, food preparations and serving, costume and dress showcase, among others. The fair coincides with the International Museums Day which falls on the 18th of May and entry to the national monuments and museums gallery will be free on the day. This will be a great platform for citizens to reconnect and engage with their culture, history and heritage in an exciting way.
